As the capital market in Brazil matures, so the need to communicate directly and effectively grows. Transparency is the pillar of sustainability and good corporate governance practice. This implies a need to set up communications channels with stakeholders. Smartphones and tablets have become a fact of life, especially among the target audience for investor relations. These devices offer interactivity and new ways of presenting content, making them both more attractive and more useful. In view of this, we decided to develop applications on top of our platforms geared specifically for tablets and investor relations. We believe that the format of corporate reports will be transformed in the coming years. Rather than providing accountability, they are increasingly becoming strategic instruments for establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
