Developed and maintained by engineers with over ten years of experience in the mobile market, this innovative platform with global scale eliminates the barrier of opening and approving SMS projects with the mobile operators. With a friendly web interface and integrated with all Brazilian mobile operators, Lembreto allows for the creation of SMS channels that can be instantly charged to the final user or to the content producer. Thus, small content producers now have a path to the Telecom business models. They can now earn money with their audiences in a way that was only previously available to large economic groups.

One of Lembreto’s most interesting characteristic (if not the most) is its API. We created a programmable interface that allows developers to utilize Lembreto as part of its SMS application infra structure. Thus, basically any person or company in the IT market now has direct access to Brazilian mobile operators with “equal business conditions”. This is a clear proof of Lembreto’s calling to the so called “long tail” and its capacity to universalize access to value added services.

We currently have more than 130 thousand active users (among producers and consumers) and 20 thousand SMS channels. The platform is used by small independent content producers, mid sized developers and even well known brands and large communication groups such as: Editora 3 (Istoé Magazine) and Globosat (Cartola FC and SporTV). Furthermore, by utilizing our API, more than 100 developers have been able to create their applications with the help of Lembreto.
