PlayMe represents an innovative approach for mobile applications. Instead of producing “closed individualized applications” with limited services, Aorta preferred to develop a Client – Server architecture with a number of services and functionalities. PlayMe allows for the publication of texts, photos, videos, upon demand audio streaming and the integration with RSS and a series of Social Medias. The application functions as a client of our server. The advantages of such an approach includes: economy of scale in terms of application management and quick deployment of new applications and functionalities.
Due to these features we were able to launch a number of multifunctional and multisystem projects in an efficient and scalable manner. Following are examples of already deployed projects: OiFM, Skank, STB (Student Travel Bureau), Jovem Pan FM, Jovem Pan AM, Trip Magazine, TPM, Nike Canarinho, FFW (São Paulo Fashion Week and Fashion Rio), Istoé Gente Magazine, Claro Radio, SporTV and Multishow (Globosat cable channels), Rolling Stones Magazine, Sobrado 112 and Fino Coletivo.
We currently work with all major Smartphone operational systems, such as: iPhone OS, RIM OS, Symbian, Android and Windows Mobile.
